Some knitting .....Jean Greenhowe dolls and blankets
I can knit but my mum is the expert in our family. She does these toys and dollies from the Jean Greenhowe patterns.
And when she's bored she makes these blankets, completely out of her head, no pattern,
to "use up my wool"
She hates them herself, says they remind her of old people's homes so I usually get them, but I think they are works of art!
And she still makes me toys..........

Can I adopt your Mum,I love those dollies but even more I want the sheep.
My mum knitted the "wurzel" doll too and it is very cute. I like the little rat (or is it a mouse?)and the little lamb is very sweet.
The blanket is very arty - not at all "old folks home" stylie.
